Alsitek Limited  was established in 2008 to research and develop novel and sustainable products.

We are based in Peterborough in the UK.  We work with companies across Europe, U.S and Asia that range from multinationals to family businesses.  They all want to take advantage of the market leading properties we are able to develop in response to their needs using our materials.

Fire performance

• Successfully tested to BS 476 part 22.
• Will withstand temperatures of up to 700°C, equivalent to a fully developed domestic fire.
• Successfully tested to ISO 5660-1, and demonstrate complete thermal stability with no toxic emissions.
• Low thermal expansion.
• Successfully tested for exposure to jet fire (indicative ISO 22899-1).
• Rated A1 (non-combustible) against ISO 1182 and IMO 2010 FTP Code part 1 (Marine).

​Insulation performance

Thermal

• Density range 60 kg/m3 to 1300 kg/m3.
• Thermal conductivity 0.03 W/mK to 0.106 W/mK EN 12664.
• Our product retain low thermal conductivity at high and low temperatures.

Acoustic

• Successfully tested and achieved 95% noise reduction (ISO 10534-2).

Form

• Can be formed or cut into panels or blocks.
• Can be formed into composite materials.
• High precision detailed moulding.
• Can be extruded.
• ​Can be used as an adhesive resin.​

Inert and safe material

• The raw materials that constitute our mineral polymers de-polymerise under certain conditions into naturally occurring polymers.
• Cured polymers emit no emissions under high temperatures.
• Low carbon footprint.
